A little about me
Firstly thank you for visiting my portfolio website, I hope you enjoy viewing a selection of my favourite images!
I’m an amateur photographer living in Kidderminster, Worcestershire and have lived here my whole life. I am surrounded by some great local hotspots, landmarks and architecture which I try to take advantage of and feel lucky to have so local.
Since a young age I have dabbled in photography on and off over the years and until 2017/18 started taking it more seriously. I’ve self taught myself and I’m always eager to learn more about photography and improve my skills both behind the camera and editing.
Gear I use
Currently I shoot with a Nikon Z6 full frame camera and also a DJI Mavic Pro 2 aerial drone when the weather conditions permit. I have a small collection of lenses but tend to favourite a wider focal length often shooting with my Nikon 16-35mm and 24-70mm lenses. My telephoto doesn’t get as much love but I’m hoping to change that.
Aerial photography & printing
In 2019 I bought my first aerial drone and printer and began a journey of deep diving into learning and experimenting with them. I enjoyed aerial photography so much that I upgraded a few months later to the DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone. Originally I wanted a printer to print my own work to keep as a portfolio but after developing my printing skills I decided to take a chance and start offering prints for sale in 2020. Thankfully a few local photos were well received and this has encouraged me to continue refining my printing and photography skills.
